Which calendar apps support it?

The vCalendar format is supported by Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and virtually all calendar apps.

Can I include a location?

Yes — enter the venue address and it appears in the calendar event.

Can I set a reminder?

Reminders are not embedded in the QR. The user sets them manually in their calendar app after saving the event.

Is a time zone included?

Dates are stored in the device local time. For international events, mention the time zone in the description field.
